Bringing Confidence and Care to Those in Need

At OnTheRunSF, we believe a fresh haircut is more than just a service—it’s a boost of confidence, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares. However for many elderly individuals or (any age) hospital patients, mobility challenges, hospice, and financial hardships prevent them from getting even the simplest self-care.
That’s why we’re launching a fundraiser to bring professional hair services directly to those who need them most—at no cost to them.

Why This Matters?

Imagine being unable to leave your home or hospital bed, watching time pass without the ability to refresh your look. Many of our elderly clients, especially those in nursing homes, have shared that they haven’t had a professional haircut in years. For hospital patients battling illness, something as small as a haircut can bring a sense of normalcy and renewed strength.

One of our clients, Mrs. Thompson, an 84-year-old former teacher, told us, “I used to get my hair done every month. Now, I can’t even make it to the salon. I just want to feel like myself again.”

 Another, David, a cancer patient, beamed after his haircut, saying, “I finally feel like I look in the mirror and

 see me again.” These moments are priceless—and we want to create more of them.

How You Can Help

Your donation will go directly toward:

✔️ Providing free haircuts and styling for elderly and hospital-bound clients

✔️ Covering travel expenses to reach those in need

✔️ Giving clients a sense of dignity, care, and self-love

Every dollar makes a difference. $25 helps cover part of a service, $50 gives a full haircut, and $100 sponsors a full visit, including travel.(anything helps)
